Amanda Woolsey- Office Manager
Amanda is our office manager. Although not originally from Beaufort, she has spent most of her life here. She worked for several years as a Dental Assistant before recently transitioning to her new position. She is very passionate about her work and her patients, and loves the challenge her new role is presenting. When not working, Amanda enjoys home-improvement projects, boating, volunteering at her children's schools, and spending time with her husband and children.
Lauren Phillips, CDA - Certified Dental Assistant
Lauren is a “transplant” to Beaufort, SC. Born in Michigan, she grew up a Navy brat and all over the East Coast; arriving to Beaufort 16 years ago. Lauren is a ten-year dental veteran with a wide range of knowledge and experience in all aspects of dentistry, as well as our office BURST Ambassador! Outside of work, she is a mom to two boys, Evan (12) and Emerson (2), and enjoys spending time with her family. Lauren is an avid sports fan and loves all things Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves!
Kaelynn Goodson, RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist
Kaelynn is a warm and welcoming registered dental hygienist that's dedicated to helping you take care of your beautiful smile. She's lived in SC for over 10 years and in the Beaufort area for a year and a half. She has been a hygienist for 4 years. Her favorite part of the job is teaching patients how to best take care of their teeth and keep their mouths healthy. She'll happily listen to your dental concerns without judgement and considers it a privilege to take care of you at Island Dental! Outside of work she enjoys going to the beach, painting, and cooking new recipes.
